Hi everyone!
Today I thought I would do a review on this highlighter which I have used for so long and that I absolutely love. First of all, this is suppose to be a “baked blush” but it is obviously a highlighter; even on very fair skin tones. It is a soft pink champagne color that is beautiful for everyone I imagine since it is pigmented enough to show up on a much darker skin tone than mine. I have the baked highlighters from e.l.f. and comparing this to those, this one has better pigmentation and the powder is softer and creamier.
This is one of the few highlighters I have with a pink hue and it is very flattering. It has micro glitter in it but honestly, you can not see it unless you stare at it in direct sunlight with a magnifying glass. It almost melts into the skin, so you don’t have the appearance of stripes on your cheekbones.
I love and definitely recommend this highlighter.

Such a gorgeous shade, I agree, it’s more of a highlighter than baked blush.

It is super pigmented and buttery for a baked product 🙂

I absolutely love most e.l.f. products I purchase. There’s a few that didn’t hit the mark, but they are so cheap, it doesn’t bother me all that much. I’ll have to pick this up and see how it compares to the blush I use as a highlighter (Covergirl Cheekers in Snow Plum.)

I agree, the price makes the few bad products not much of a loss.

Have you tried any of their powdered eyeshadow quads? I’ve only found one I use on a somewhat regular basis, the rest I wasn’t fond of, but at only $1 a piece, it wasn’t a loss.

I don’t have any of their quads, but I do have a bunch of their palettes. The prism palettes are amazing and their big neutral palette I really like. I will do reviews on those soon. 🙂

I’ve been eyeing that neutral palette for a while, but my disappointment in the quads kept me from purchasing it.

Then I will do a review on that palette this week. What was the issue with the quads?

For me, they were too shimmery, and they were very chalky which produced a lot of fallout. Also, they weren’t as pigmented as I’d hoped. I only saved one, the one with the black shadow in it, and use it to set my lower waterline eyeliner.

Hey beauty. Just wanted to say if you find a highlighter that does have a lot of fall out just tap off the excess and apply. Maybe it just wasn’t for you, or your skin type. I can also recommend a bunch of great high end and cheap highlighters, if you want. 💜💜

It wasn’t the highlighter that I was experiencing the fallout from, it was the e.l.f. cheap eyeshadow quads. My current highlighter is actually a blush, but it works perfectly for me because I am so ridiculously pale with a pink undertone to my skin. It’s a highlighting/contouring nightmare to try and find products, which is why I almost never contour.

So pretty! It’s funny tat the blush does better than the actual highlighter… but I digress. I love that it has a subtle pink shimmer to it, too!

I’ll be sure to get the next time I go out, ELF’s got great products and their brushes are of nice quality and cheap 🙂

I love the studio brushes! (Black handle) The essential line (white handle) is not as good quality.

I have this too and love it! I agree, it’s much smoother and more pigmented than their baked highlighters. I always thought that was weird haha, that it’s a blush yet it’s a better highlighter than their actual highlighters lol.

Their highlighters are super fragile as well, two of them came broken. 😦
