Hi everyone!
I had a comment on a post about this eyeshadow palette; wondering if it is any good. So I decided to do a full review on it.
Firstly, just by looking at the palette you see some matte, satin, shimmer, and a few metallic shades. There are some deep shades of purple, orange, and green in this palette, which help you to incorporate some color in your eye look. Each individual pan is an okay size as I have used some of these shades many times but have not hit pan yet. I had bought this on their 50% off sale months ago. It is normally $15 but I got it for $7.50 at the time along with the colorful 144 palette which I will do a review on soon.
As for the quality, the shimmer and metallic shades are the best compared to the others. They are pigmented and soft however, a few were too soft and they would break apart turning into a loose pigment. The matte shades are less pigmented but work well on me because I have fair skin therefore I can build the crease color. The lighter shades (the top left corner) are a bit too powdery and slightly chalky but they are not too bad as I can still work with them but I hardly do because I have better ones in my collection.
I would say more of the colors are good quality and would recommend this palette for the price.
I did not use a primer underneath the swatches or water to intensify them. I simply rubbed my finger in the pan and ran it 2 or 3 times on the back of my dry hand.
I do not see this palette on the e.l.f. website at the moment unfortunately to put up a link.
Have you tried this palette? Let me know in the comment section below!
So much to choose from 😮

Even though it’s a massive palette with all neutrals, it looks like it still has a lot of different colors and not the same brown five times haha
Adding this to my wish list, thanks for this review!

Wow! that’s a lot of shades and fun to play with all of them for different look. I wish they have this palette available where I live since Target Canada already closed. Which is a bummer 😦 I personally love the color swatches. Thanks for sharing this review 🙂

I live in Canada too! I got this online from their website a few months ago. Also check out Winners, I’ve seen lots of e.l.f. products there. 🙂

That’s awesome help. I’ll check out at Winners 🙂 Do you know if efl online orders include free shipping here? Thanks

e.l.f. is not so nice to Canadians 😦 When they advertise “free shipping” they mean $10 USD instead of $15 USD also when US dollar converts to Canadian, it’s rather disturbing. lol

Yay, that’s sucks .. Canadian seems to get the other end of the stick when it comes to beauty products eh! 😦 If only they have an elf store would be great so that we can shop to our heart content LOL xo

Also check out the Loblaws Superstore, they always carry e.l.f.

I haven’t used this palette before and oh my!, so much of goodness in one palette and it is amazing too. I am glad you got that and I like the shimmering swatches on your hand – it is absolutely gorgeous. I love your blog and if you fancy a read, check onto my blog https://lifestylebites3.wordpress.com

Hehe yeah it is pretty big. Not travel friendly at all and I have to think a bit before choosing colors since there are so many right beside each other. 🙂

I’m so bummed that e.l.f product here don’t include any of the ones you’ve reviewed. I really like the versatility this palette can give, it’s like a palette that will last a long time. Could you do a review on their eye primers?

Yes sure I’ve got both! 🙂

Thank you for doing the review on this! I’ll have to keep an eye out for it, and purchase it after my 30 day challenge is over! I’ve had the same experience with their shadows, the matte ones seem to be a softer texture, and just get very powdery when used. I do love the matte black for setting the liner on my bottom waterline though.
Did you see on the e.l.f. website that they have a “beauty box” of sorts? I’ve been thinking of trying it, since my ipsy subscription is on hold until after I move.

No problem 🙂 I never thought about getting those boxes from e.l.f. Just because I have so many things from them I would def get repeats. They have new palettes that I want to try so bad! The matte palette looks really good. (Check it out on the ‘new’ section on their site)

Oh my god it’s massive! Haha!
I’ve never tried any Elf shadows, but the swatches look pretty good to me! When you see palettes like this you always assume the quality won’t be very good, but I so want to hunt this down now!

I use this much more than I thought, I really like the shimmer colors and the warm crease shades. Start hunting 🙂

Wow, that’s a lot of eyeshadow colors. E.l.f products are very hit or miss with me. I’m not a huge fan of their eyeshadows because they’re either too chalky or they flake off everywhere, so I probably won’t ever be getting this. Great review anyways 🙂

Thanks 🙂 yeah, I know what you mean that is why I always use a primer or base and they last pretty much all day for me with some fading.
