Hello again!
Today I’m reviewing the e.l.f.’s bright palette. Before we begin, if you haven’t already, click here to see my review on the neutral palette.
There are much more bright, summery colors in this palette but they still kept a bunch of neutral shades on the sides. This palette includes matte, shimmer, satin, and metallic shades, which makes it much easier to create a look without reaching for other shadows. I love using this for a pop of color on my lower lash line when I want a specific shade of blue or green, I always reach for this.
The quality is pretty much the same as the neutral palette, except a bit more powdery; but you can always apply it the same method you would apply a loose pigment. The shimmer colors are the best quality, they are much more buttery and pigmented. The matte shades are the least pigmented, same as the neutral palette. I would recommend this palette to those who do not want to spend a lot but want to increase their eye shadow collection.
I did not use primer under the swatches or water to intensify them. I ran the color on the back of my hand a few times with my finger.
What do you think of this palette?
I have heard that e.l.f shades contain lead?! Is this eye shade palette safe? Because i just ordered this, and i am scared now.

Highly doubt that elf would include lead in its palettes and still be selling in US, Canada, UK, etc. I will do some research and get back to you though!

This palette and the neutral one were on the elf website not too long ago, I guess they sold out for now. They are $15 each, but I purchased them when it was 50% off, so for only $7.50! If I see them back on the website I will put up links.

Lol Most of their products are good, check out my other posts for more elf reviews. If you see any of the smudge pots grab them, they are my favourite!
