The Beautiful Blogger Award x4

Hi everyone!

Last night I got a notification that I had reached 1000 WordPress followers! I’m so happy that 1000+ of you are enjoying my blog and that you are hopefully finding my product reviews helpful; this means a lot to me. Also, keep in mind that I will do all my award nominations but I want to space them out in between the product reviews.

I was nominated for the beautiful/beauty blogger award 4 times so I decided to do one post on all 4.

I was kindly nominated by Cheap-Skate Beauty for the beautiful and the beauty blogger award. She’s a beauty blogger that does product reviews; which are my absolute favourite to read. Definitely recommend following her blog!

What’s your favourite lipstick?

At the moment I’m really loving my Lancome Color Design lipstick in “B-List”. It’s a nude peach shade that I love mixing with other lipsticks to lighten.

What is your ideal hair? Like long/curly short/straight?

I think long, layered, wavy or straight hair is the most flattering.

Favourite drugstore & high end brand?

My favourite drugstore brand is e.l.f. and favourite high end is Lancome and Clinique.

Favourite animal?

I love all animals but recently I saw a Red Panda on TV and it’s so cute!

Do you play any instruments?

I have played the flute for a year, the violin for 3 years, and the saxophone for a year. My favourite was the violin but I haven’t played anything for years.

What’s your favourite meal?

I like pretty much all different types of food from different cultures. I don’t have a favourite.

What’s your makeup essential?

Essentials? Mascara, concealer, eyebrow pencil/gel.

If you could be stuck on an island with 3 people – alive or dead – which would you choose?

I can’t choose! I’d say all my family and friends 🙂

How many people have you told about your blog in real life?

A few people in my family (sister, cousin, etc) and some friends that like beauty-related blogs.

How many foundations do you own?

7 Foundations, 4 BB creams, 3 stick foundations, and 4 powder foundations

What’s your favourite eyeshadow colour?

Click here to see my post on it – it’s so unique and looks so nice with my fair skin tone.

How much time do you spend doing your makeup on a daily basis?

Everyday is different – it can take 15 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on the occasion.

What’s your favourite makeup brush?

A Lancome angled brush that came in a holiday kit, I use it for my bottom lash line or when I want to do a soft shadow liner on my top lashes.

When you go to a drugstore what brand do you look for first?

Probably Maybelline

What was your first makeup item?

A double-ended cobalt blue and black eyeliner from Estee Lauder I think. I got it from my mom when I was in grade 6/7; I use to love using either side to line my water line.

Do you regularly or have ever self tanned?

I have self tanned a few times in the past using self tanners, but honestly I like my natural skin tone that never tans; I think it suits me the best.

How do you feel about overdrawn lips?

I like it – if it’s not obviously over-drawn.

Do you contour on a daily basis?

I do a very light contour with a cool-toned shade everyday.

Random Facts:

1) Black has always been my favourite nail polish color since middle school.

2) I love spicy foods.

3) I can’t swim, I never learned.

4) I learned to ride a bike when I was in grade 3. I never had training wheels and as a result I had a bunch of accidents.

5) My favourite mascara ever is the Maybelline Lash Sensational.

6) I recently learned that I have tripophobia but honestly who doesn’t?

7) I’m obsessed with sashimi.
