Hi everyone!
This makeup item is nostalgic for me as it was one of the first e.l.f. products I purchased. I have more of these duos but for today I’m reviewing “St. Lucia”, as it is my favourite.
Firstly, the packaging is very sturdy and sleek and perfect for travel because it is a 2-in-1 compact. The mirror is very large and clear; again perfect for travel if you don’t want to take a mirror with you.
Both blush and bronzer have shimmer in them but they don’t translate much on the face unless you pack the product on. The blush is a coral peach shade that looks beautiful on fair skin tones as it is not very pigmented so you can lightly build the color up to your preference.
The bronzer is much more pigmented so you barely have to touch it with a brush but it blends out well so even if you accidentally put on too much you can buff it out fairly quickly. The bronzer is not too cool or warm so I think it would suit many skin tones. The shimmer in the bronzer gives a nice glow-y look, which is what I want during summer time.
Overall I like this duo by e.l.f.; it is not the best quality but it does a decent job for only $3 USD. The only downside I noticed with this product is the lasting power; it fades away after 3 hours which is a bit inconvenient.
Have you tried this duo?

This is one product from E.L.F that I do love.

I’ve been told it’s a dupe for orgasm/laguna as well. Also one of the first elf products I tried! Love it, great post! 🙂

Me too 🙂 thanks! Do you have the Nars duo? – do you think it’s a dupe?

Nope, just the elf duo. I’ve seen both in person, but never compared them side by side.

This compact actually reminded me of the NARS orgasm and laguna duo without the price tag!

Many people say it is a dupe for the Nars one! I’m not too sure that it is by looking at the swatches online.

I love elf cosmetics for their pocket friendly price tag and decent quality. I dont expect any thing out of the world for them. The bronzer seems nice although the lasting power could have been better.

I’ve always wanted to try this duo but as I’m quite tanned I’m not too sure how the colors will translate on me – you make me wanna try it out anyway though!

It would probably be more subtle on you! If your light – medium skin tone I would recommend that you try it 🙂

I have this duo as well. At 3.00, everyone should give it a shot. The two colors are perfect. I’ve loved it for a long time!

I would recommend the blush palettes and the mineral blushes over this. This just wears off too fast! Don’t worry I got what you were saying 🙂 lol

Oh wow this awesome! I recently found that my local CVS Pharmacy has been selling ELF products so I know I want to see if I can pick this up. I hate buying things online, and waiting for shipping LOL
