Hi again!
I use a liquid liner almost every time I do my makeup; I love the shape that winged liner gives my eyes. I had a bad experience with this liquid liner upon first application but then it surprised and exceeded my expectations!
The first time I applied this liquid liner it started to make my eyes sting and I quickly removed it and thought I threw it out until I saw it again in my collection. For whatever reason I decided to give it another try and this time it did not sting my eyes. Maybe it dried a bit since it was very liquid-y and that is why the second time it didn’t melt into my eyes. It applied a little sheer but with another coat it looked great.
Throughout the day the lasting power was pretty decent; it did not smudge or flake off which I was impressed with. The wings stayed intact for hours which with most liners start to smudge or flake off there for me. The brush is not flimsy at all so you have total control of the application, it feels almost like a felt tip. It’s not completely matte but I don’t mind the slight shine in some angles.
I rubbed the swatches below and it was very hard rubbing the product off which surprised me as my other liquid liners would easily wipe off.
I definitely recommend this for everyday use since the price is amazing and the product itself is pretty good. I want to try the NYC liquid liner next, since I have heard so many great things about and it is a dollar cheaper than the e.l.f.!

E.L.F. is such a great brand! I’m always looking for a good liquid liner, so I think I’ll take a look at this one 🙂

This is pretty good; I love the brush, it makes winging your liner super easy.

I may have to give this one a try. The other e.l.f. liner I have has a flimsy brush.

The $1 one? I heard that the formula is similar to this. This brush is very easy to use though because it is stiff.

Yes the $1one. This is good to hear because I actually don’t mind the formula.

I wanted to try that but went for the loreal gel liner which is really good and hasn’t dried out after months! I will buy the maybelline next 🙂 thanks!

Sounds great! I’ve been wanting to try an e.l.f. liner but I thought that it might just be a waste of money, but it sounds really good! Have you ever tried the revlon colorstay liquid eyeliners?

No I have not, my favourite so far is the loreal lineur intense brush tip.

I can’t stand the Revlon liquid liner, but I love their liquid pen and retractable pencil and use them every day. I also liked the e.l.f. gel liner

I just have a few Revlon products in my collection – they are not my favourite. But I’m interested now to try the liquid pen, I feel like that may be easier to apply than a brush tip.

I find that it is much easier to apply the pen, especially for a cat eye. The pen also dries much faster and with a thinner layer of product. I’ll be honest – it’s been a couple years since I tried any other brand of liquid pen.

How does it wear? Does it smudge or flake off?

It doesn’t flake off. I don’t find that it smudges much, though if I rub my eyes later in the day some may get on my fingers. It can also begin to fade a little, but I usually get at least a solid 8 hours of wear before that.

This looks like a great Liquid Liner! However I have to say my firm favourite is Rimmel London Scandal Eyes!!

I have to say Rimmel is one of my favourite drug store brands! I’ve yet to try a shadow stick by them, but I have had many people singing their praises to me! 🙂
