Nars Eyeshadow (Edie) Review + Swatches

Hello everyone!

I love using this eyeshadow on my brow bone, inner corners, and all over the lid when I want a subtle highlight. This shade is very close to my skin tone and has a satin finish with a bit of shimmer in it. I don’t like very shimmery or glittery highlights on my brow bone and use this for every eye look. This shade will show up better on tanner skin tones and would look great as a brow bone highlight for almost every skintone. I use this on my inner corners when I’m wearing glitter on my eye lids, and on my eyelids when I’m doing a natural everyday eye.

I saw this on eBay for around $16 and thought I would try it out; there are many listings still up for this shadow. The formula is alright; it is not sheer but definitely not very pigmented. It is a bit powdery as well but I think it works well for what I intended to use it for.

I tried my best to capture the subtle shimmer and the satin finish in the swatches below but it is very difficult to see the true effect in pictures.

Overall, I think this is a great brow bone shade but don’t think it was worth the price.
