Hi everyone!
This shade is the perfect everyday blush for lighter skin tones, it goes with any makeup look. This is great for those who do not like or use blush since it is very soft looking on the cheeks. This review is on the shade “Sweet Retreat”.
I like the packaging because it is sleek and light; perfect for travel. It also has a see-through lid; this makes it easy to find the shade you need.
Sweet Retreat has a matte finish with the slightest sheen; almost a satin finish. This shade is a light pink/peach and even though the blush itself is pigmented, the color is light.
This blush feels very buttery and the formula is comparable to a much higher brand. It blends very easily on the cheeks and lasts for about 3-4 hours before fading. Overall, I recommend this for an everyday blush for lighter skin tones.
Have you tried the pressed mineral blushes?

Oooo pretty! I struggle to find soft blush shades for my very fair skin, this looks like a great one to try x

Thanks for sharing! ELF has some amazing products for such great prices! I haven’t tried this particular one but the baked blush in “peachy cheeky” is my favorite blush of theirs I’ve tried so far!

I love the baked blush in “pinktastic”, I use it as a highlighter 🙂

This color may be too fair for my skin tone, but your swatches show that the colors may be highly pigmented which makes me want to purchase some! Gotta love ELF!

Try out these mineral blushes and the blush palettes! I didn’t like their studio blushes, they were very powdery.

This blush looks really beautiful and smooth (particularly for ELF)! I wish it was a little deeper in tone for my medium/olive complexion, but it looks soo pretty! It almost reminds me of a more satin-finish NARS orgasm (another one too light for me).

They have darker shades of this formula! Also, check out their blush palettes, the formula of those are very similar to this 🙂

Any of the darker ones that you have tried and like? I always get nervous ordering from ELF online but a palette may be a good happy medium 🙂

The blush palettes come in light and dark shades, the light however works for medium skin tones because of the pigmentation! I have both palettes and love them! Also have the pressed mineral blush in Jet setter and that one is a beautiful fall shade.
