Hello again!

I have seen and heard many people comparing this highlighter to the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in “Dim Light” and so I had to pick it up. This is labelled as a bronzer but it is definitely a highlighter even for extremely fair skin tones. There are 2 other shades which are much darker and can be used as a bronzer. This review is on the shade “Reserve Your Cabana”.

The formula is very smooth, buttery, and very pigmented. It does not contain glitter or shimmer but givesΒ a beautiful glow and reflects light which instantly brightens. It has an average wear time, it will last a whole school/work day. It also contains SPF 15 but I don’t think that is effective against sunburn.

I love using this for highlighting my nose and cupid’s bow because it is so subtle. This can be used all over the face,Β even under the eyes however, this powder can tend to settle into fine lines so it is not suitable for everyone. It can be used as an eyeshadow, it actually makes a nice subtle under brow highlight. I would describe this as a brightening powder rather than a highlight.

This is a great powder overall for brightening and for a natural highlight which I prefer on a daily basis. I highly recommend this, especially since it is only a couple dollars.
