W7 Catwalk Complexion Powder Review + Swatches

W7 Catwalk Complexion Powder

Hi everyone!

This powder is one of the silkiest powder I have ever touched. It feels almost like a cream, that is how silky it is. There are 3 shades, this review is on the shade Beige.

W7 Catwalk Complexion Powder

The compact is nice; it is sturdy and it houses a sponge and a mirror under the powder. I don’t like the sponge in the compact; I prefer to use a brush. The mirror is really handy to have with the compact.

The formula is amazing, because of the silkiness it blends so well and quickly. It has good lasting power and has a satin/matte finish that looks very natural and sits nicely on my oily-combination skin; it does not look cake-y at all.

The shade Beige is a bit too dark for me to use all over my face but I use this as a natural bronzer since the color is a nice tan shade; not orange.

Overall, I really like the formula of this powder and would try out the translucent shade next. W7 is a very affordable brand that is cruelty-free and does not use palm oil in any of their products.

TYRA Beauty Oops Liner Review + Swatches

TYRA Beauty Oops Liner

Hi everyone!

This was my first time trying a product from this brand and I was pleasantly surprised by this double sided liquid liner pen and eraser. It makes creating a cat eye super easy and quick! This review is on the shade “BlackBlackBlack”.

TYRA Beauty Oops Liner

Starting with the liner side: the formula is amazing; it is fairly black and dries quickly to an almost matte finish. Once it dries it does not budge at all; even after trying to rub it off with my finger. The pen may look large but it can create thin lines since the tip is fine. The wear time with this liquid liner is unbelievable, every time I have tried to take it off at the end of the day I noticed that it looks the exact same as it did in the morning.

Swiped once, same swatch in both pictures with different lighting.

I always use a brush tip liquid liner so I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this pen but after using it I noticed that it provides better control and precision.

TYRA Beauty Oops Liner

The corrector side I found to be just O.K. It did the job of removing the liner where it usually gets crooked (the wing) but I found that it slightly smeared the liner around. It also needs to be wiped off after every use or it will cause a serious mess.

e.l.f. Blush Palette (Light) Review + Swatches

e.l.f. Blush Palette Light

Hi again!

This blush palette is an amazing find for the price. These shades can be very soft on the cheeks but can also be built up to a more intense color. I have done a review on the dark version of this blush palette which you can view here.

As I mentioned in the other review, I really like the packaging of these palettes because they contain a huge clear mirror and are fairly sturdy as the blushes stay in place and don’t pop out, unless you want them to. You can also switch up the shades between the two blush palettes, the illuminating, contour, foundation, and bronzer palettes that they have and be able to carry four products in one palette for travelling and convenience.

The formula of these are great; they are very pigmented, so I suggest using a light hand and then building it up, and are blendable. They have a buttery feel, I only noticed the right bottom-hand blush was a bit powdery but it isn’t noticeable on the cheeks. They also have good staying power; they will still be on your cheeks after a work/school day but slightly faded.

Swatched in order from left to right.

They are all matte except for the bottom right one, which has tiny glitters in it which doesn’t really translate onto the face. I really do recommend these blush palettes if you are looking to expand your blush collection with good quality blushes without spending a lot.

No Cosmetics No Dark Shadows Complexion Enhancer Review + Swatches

No Cosmetics No Dark Shadows Complexion Enhancer

Hi everyone!

These are great everyday highlighters/concealers that help brighten the under eyes. They come in two shades; a pink-undertone light shade and a medium yellow-undertone shade. This review is on both; Wow and Pizazz.

This is a multi-use product; it can be used as a concealer under the eyes or as a highlighter on the cheekbones, bridge of nose, middle of forehead, etc. It is a twist up pen with a brush tip; fairly simple. Pizazz is on the left and Wow is on the right.

No Cosmetics No Dark Shadows Complexion Enhancer

The formula is great; it is lightweight, not greasy, and it seems to just melt into the skin. It is not drying at all and therefore great for dry skin but because it is oil-free, it holds up well on oily skin too. The coverage is light to medium so it is not ideal if you like a full coverage concealer.

I had the lighter shade Wow swatched on my hand (Porcelain/fair) and the darker yellow shade swatched on my friend’s arm who has a medium skin tone (olive/tan) so that the brightening effect can be seen.

The first swatch pic is Wow and the second is Pizazz.

Manna Kadar Sheer Glo Review + Swatches

Manna Kadar Sheer Glo

Hi everyone!

This was the first lotion highlighter that I have ever tried! It is subtle and perfect for a natural undetectable glow. This review is on the shade “Birchbox Love” and it is a deluxe sample size.

This has a thick liquid formula which is not runny but thin and light-weight. You can mix this in with your foundation for an all-over glow/dew or just pat it on your cheekbones, bridge of nose, etc. It glides on well because of the texture and sets/dries in about 1 minute. Because I have combination oily skin, I do not like an all over dewy look and so I like to pat this on my cheekbones. When I want to prolong and intensify my highlight I like to layer a powder highlight over a liquid or cream highlight.

The shade is a blush tone and can be a bit dark or too pink for super fair skin tones. I can pull it off when I sheer it out but I think this would look amazing on medium to dark skin tones. It has micro glitter in it but you can’t feel it at all because it is so fine and it doesn’t look chunky whatsoever.

MAC Viva Glam 2 Lipstick Review + Swatches

Mac Viva Glam 2

Hi again!

I thought I would do a review on the lipstick that is my go-to when I don’t know what to pair my eye look with. This shade just goes with every and any makeup look; it is a “my lips but better” color.

The finish is satin; it looks like a matte with a slight sheen. The formula is creamy upon application and has great staying power but I do notice this formula drying out my lips after a few hours of wear. I have to apply a balm under this to prevent my lips being dried out but I do like that it “sticks” to my lips and doesn’t slide around.

This is a mauve, pink shade with a grey-undertone, it looks very flattering on and is a great color for over-drawing your lips because it is very similar to my natural lip color.

Arbonne Perfecting Liquid Foundation Review + Swatches

Arbonne Perfecting Liquid Foundation

Hi everyone!

This foundation looks amazing on the skin and is perfect for those that want a natural-looking foundation that still offers coverage. This review is on the shade Porcelain.

The formula is almost a liquid and blends very well and quickly. I have tried this foundation with a few different primers and I find that it works best with a silicon based primer. I was first using this with a glycerin based primer and did not like the way it sat on my skin. I apply it with a flat top brush and buff it into my skin. This has a light to medium coverage and has a matte/satin finish; looks like skin.

This lasts fine on oily skin but it does melt around my nose where I’m the most oily. It doesn’t control my oils at all but when I blotted and powdered every 4 hours or so it lasted fine. Around my jaw where I’m not oily, it lasted the entire day; more than 8 hours.

The shade porcelain is a touch too light for me so the shades are true to color and even a bit lighter. I like that it has a yellow undertone rather than pink which most light ivory/porcelain shades have.

Blended out on top and product pumped out on bottom.

Arbonne Perfecting Liquid Foundation Porcelain
Arbonne Perfecting Liquid Foundation Porcelain

The packaging is great; it has a pump and it pushes the product out so there is no product left. It is plastic and very light weight; perfect for travel. Overall, I like this foundation for days when my skin feels a bit dry and I like that it looks natural on the skin. This has SPF 15 which is great but I do not think that it is sufficient enough to prevent sunburn. Arbonne products do not contain talc, parabens, mineral oil, etc.
