W7 Matte Lipstick (Ruby) Review + Swatches

W7 Matte Lipstick

Hi again!

When I think of the perfect New Year makeup look, I automatically think a red lip. This W7 lipstick in “Ruby” is an affordable option.

The formula of a red lipstick is extremely important to me since I have had red lipstick smear and transfer around my lips in the past. This lipstick feels and looks like a true matte formula; which is not moisturizing and tends to slightly drag on the lips but that makes the color stay on for longer. It is transferable but not messy and it leaves a stain after wearing for many hours.

Upon application I noticed that this lipstick is very pigmented and has a sweet candy scent which I found to be pleasant and not bothersome.

The color is a bright cherry red shade swatched below.

Ford Lashes (Mink Lashes) Review

Ford Lashes

Hi everyone!

With the New Year coming up, I thought that many of you would be looking for a pair of falsies to wear. This review is on the Sharon and Jenny Lash.

I love the packaging! It is gorgeous; the lashes are enclosed in a sturdy box with a quilted texture and golden writing. The ribbon is to help pull out the lashes from inside the box.

Ford Lashes The Sharon Lash

The Sharon lash above is very wispy and “natural-looking” as they have fewer hairs and are spaced out. However, they do add quite a bit of drama and is a nice pair for an everyday dramatic look.

Ford Lashes The Jenny Lash

The Jenny lash above is much more dramatic and fuller but still very wispy-looking since the natural Mink hairs are not all the same length hence, why they are called 3D lashes.

Both pairs are very light-weight and fluffy. You do have to prepare them before wear; trim them to fit your eye size but they are already curved so it makes it easier to apply.

If taken care of properly and gently, you can reuse them for approximately 20 times. Ford Lahes are cruelty-free.

Younique Moodstruck Addiction Palette 1 Review + Swatches

Younique Moodstruck Addiction Palette 1

Merry Christmas everyone!

I love shadow palettes that include both matte and shimmery shades and I have been loving warm tones on my eyes recently. This review is on the palette 1.

Starting off with the packaging; I like that the top flap has a magnet so it keeps it shut. There is also a fairly large clear mirror on the inside. The palette is slightly thick but it isn’t bothersome to me. Each shadow pan is very large compared to other palettes.

Younique Moodstruck Addiction Palette 1

I love how buttery and smooth they are; they aren’t the least bit powdery. Both the matte and shimmery shades are very pigmented. The shimmery shades have very fine glitter in them but are not chunky at all. There is also no fall out on any of the shades.

Younique Moodstruck Addiction Palette 1

This palette has 3 matte shades (1,4&6 from the left) and 4 shimmery/glittery shades. The first shade on the left is very similar to my skin tone and does not show up in the swatches below.

In order from the 2nd shadow on the left to the right.

Overall, I really enjoyed the shades and quality of this shadow palette. You can create different eye looks with this palette without needing to reach for other shadows.

Maybelline Master Conceal Camouflaging Concealer Review + Swatches

maybelline master conceal camouflaging concealer

Hi again!

This concealer is amazing and not talked about enough! It has to be the most full coverage concealer that I currently own. This review is on the shade “10 Fair”.

Starting off with the packaging; I love how it is a squeeze tube and you get to control how much product you get. It contains 12mL of product, which I think is a decent amount for a concealer.

The formula is creamy; not too thick and not too thin and blends out nicely. It is a full coverage concealer which is great for covering under eye darkness or spots. If set properly with powder it may crease very slightly, which I find happens anyway with any concealer.

Product is squeezed out on top and spread out on bottom.

The shade “10 Fair” has a pretty neutral undertone and is very light. It definitely brightens my under eyes and I have a very fair skin tone.

TYRA Beauty Stick With Me Spritz Review

Tyra Beauty Stick With Me Spritz

Hi everyone!

I have only done one other review on a makeup setting spray which you can view here, and so I thought I would talk about this today since I absolutely love it!

The bottle is a fairly good size (45mL); not too large but can be used a bunch before running out. When I spray this on my face the nozzle does not squirt out blobs of product; it is a fine mist and is evenly distributed. I’m very bad at describing scents, but I found the scent to be very pleasant and soft; not over-powering.

Tyra Beauty Stick With Me Spritz

This product is supposed to refresh and moisturize while extending the wear of your makeup and I found it to do just that. Once I spray this on my face it dries very quickly and it seems to make my dry patches (usually on my cheeks) less noticeable as foundation and powder can pronounce dry patches; this helps with that. The most important part in a setting spray for me is whether it can prolong my makeup and this definitely did. After about 6 hours without the setting spray my face makeup can look a bit worn off, oily on the t-zone, and cake-y on my cheeks and under eyes where I tend to touch up with powder and blotting. When I add this to my makeup routine it delays these effects to about 10 hours or so and even then, it looks much better than after 6 hours without applying this.

Rocia All-Natural Skincare Review

Rocia Naturals Skincare Cleanser Toner Moisturizer Eye Souffle

Hi everyone!

I have been very interested in skincare products with natural/organic ingredients lately. I have used these for over a month without any other products to see if it makes a noticeable difference.  Before I begin; I have oily-combination skin with the occasional breakout usually around my chin or cheeks. In the winter time I tend to get a few dry patches. These products are for “all skin types” except for the moisturizer which is meant for “normal to oily skin”.

Starting with the cleanser; it is a creamy formula that does not foam up and so it feels extremely hydrating and leaves my skin feeling very soft and smooth afterwards. It has a “natural” scent, similar to the toner, that is pleasant and soft; not over-powering.

Rocia Naturals Skincare Balance Cleanser

The ingredients in the toner are amazing and it smells great because of the rose, grapefruit, and lavender listed in the ingredients. I use this by either spraying it on a cotton pad or directly onto my face in the mornings and evenings after the cleanser.

Next, I apply the eye souffle which is very lightweight and great for applying before concealer to avoid caki-ness and creasing under the eyes. It is very thin and spreadable so you don’t have to rub or tug at your eye area. It feels very hydrating.

Lastly, I apply the moisturizer on the rest of my face. This moisturizer is light and hydrating and works good under foundation since it mattifies my face and helps in somewhat controlling my oils throughout the day. The scent of this is not my favourite, it isn’t horrible but it does have a strong “natural” scent.

e.l.f. Mad for Matte Eyeshadow Palette Review + Swatches

e.l.f. Mad for Matte Eyeshadow Palette

Hello again!

I recently got this palette after reading many positive reviews on it. I always place a matte shadow in my crease no matter what look I’m trying to achieve and so I thought that this would be a great “crease” palette for me.

The formula is slightly powdery, as you will notice in the swatches below, but it isn’t bothersome when I’m applying them. They blend very well and quickly with each other or with a shimmery shade. The lasting power is like most other shadows, obviously a primer will prolong the wear time and I definitely recommend that you use a primer with any eyeshadow.

This palette has both warm and cool toned shades and a basic black; which isn’t very intense. The two shades from the left are very light and don’t show up in swatches since they are close to my skin color.

Shades 3-6 in order from left to right.
