Hi everyone!
Since the highlighting and contouring ‘trend’ isn’t dying down anytime soon, I thought I would review this new contour palette by Youngblood.
I like the packaging because it is compact and looks luxurious with the faux leather exterior. It has a strong magnetic closure so it won’t be opening up if you decide to travel with it. It does not contain a mirror.
The formula is amazing; they are very buttery and blendable, similar to their Natural Mineral Foundations which you can find my review on here. This allows me to blend the contour shades without it looking too harsh if I happen to apply too much. The wear time is amazing as well; on my oily skin type these last the entire day with some fading after about 7+ hours.
The shades are all matte, which is why I like using the highlight shades to brighten my under eyes in a triangular shape, lighten the center of my forehead and to clean up under my cheekbone contour.
Swatched in order from left to right.
I can see these shades being suitable for a wide range of skintones except for deep. While the contour shades are not grey/ashy in tone, they somehow work on my fair neutral skintone and look natural, even during the day.
Youngblood products do not contain paraben, talc, oil, and fragrance and are cruelty free.

I like that the colors are not so dark as in some other contour palettes! And they look quite powdery which is really nice! 💗 great post! Xoxo

Those swatches look lovely! Never heard of this brand before, will definitely have a look at them now. I’ve just ordered the Morphe bronzer palette, although I’ve not heard the best things about the actual company I thought I would give it a go as they were super cheap. Great post 😊 x

I’ve been wanting to play around with the whole highlight and contour but never really knew where to start. This palette looks like a good place to start!

This is very good for beginners! It blends well and the shades are not too intense.

I just saw this brand for the first time in a store in my town! I swatched some of the cream blushes. The sheen is beautiful 😍

I love cream blushes for the warmer months, they usually last longer!

This looks really good, and a lot like the Anatasia Beverly Hills contour kit, although that one is cheaper 🙂

I haven’t tried the Anastasia contour kit but I have seen this contour palette being compared to the Kat Von D Shade and Light because the formula is extremely buttery and blendable!
