Indeed Laboratories Hydraluron Moisture Jelly Review

Indeed Laboratories Hydraluron Moisture Jelly

Hello everyone!

Now that the weather is getting warmer and my oily t-zone is getting oilier, I’m in search for a moisturizer that will absorb quickly rather than sit and feel greasy on my skin.

Starting off with the packaging, I find it to be quite unique; once you remove the cap you have to push down the top and the product comes out from the middle. This is a gel moisturizer, as the name suggests, and it feels very cool and hydrating once I apply it and after a few seconds it absorbs into my skin leaving it moisturized but not greasy. I personally like using a light-weight lotion or gel moisturizer since they don’t sit on my skin and make my makeup slide around. It is important to wait at least 5-10 minutes after applying moisturizer to let the product absorb/dry down before putting on makeup; I find that my makeup applies much better when I wait for a few minutes.

Overall, I like this moisturizer since it feels very hydrating but not greasy and the packaging is fun. However, I wish there was more product in this bottle; I find 30ml not enough for a facial moisturizer that I use both day and night.

Arbonne It’s a Long Story Mascara Review

Arbonne It's a Long Story Mascara

Hi everyone!

I have had numerous people ask me if I was wearing false lashes when wearing this mascara and when I told them about this brand, they had never heard of it. So I thought a review of this amazing mascara was long overdue.

Arbonne It's a Long Story Mascara

I love the black packaging with the silver details; it looks very luxurious. The brush looks like an average brush with short/medium length bristles; nothing special. However, when I apply this mascara to my lashes it instantly gives me amazingly long lashes without needing to apply so much product. It curls my lashes as I apply the product and keeps them curled for the entire day! This mascara does not clump your lashes unless you wait in between coats to let your lashes dry; it layers on well if the product on your lashes is still wet. The intense black shade is also what makes this mascara unique; it isn’t a shiny black but rather a very dark matte black. In terms of volume, this mascara worked great in separating my lashes and coating each lash but I have tried other mascaras that create bigger volume however, in terms of length, I don’t think this mascara can be beat.

I highly recommend this mascara even though it is pricey because of the shade, curls and holds the curl and gives amazing length. I have been using this for almost 2 months now and the formula has not dried out, which happens to me a lot with other mascaras.

Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush Review + Swatch

Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush

Hello again!

I love peachy-pink colored blushes for the summer time; they instantly brighten the face. I was interested in trying this one out since it claims to feel lightweight like a powder but melt into the skin like a cream.

I tend to go for cream blushes in the summer since I find that they don’t fade as quickly on me like powder blushes. I have an oily t-zone and so I stayed away from cream blushes thinking that they would only make me look more greasy but they hold up better than most powder formulas.

Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush Peach Satin

The packaging is very simple and lightweight; 5.6 g of product is housed in a plastic container with a see-through lid. I like that there is no excess packaging and that I can see the color through the lid without needing to open it.

The formula itself is very unique; it feels like putty but once it is applied to the skin it dries down to a silky powder consistency. Once it is dry, it won’t wipe off or move around easily; it sets in place for hours. I like using this blush with a stipple brush; since it is pigmented I like to slowly build it up rather than apply too much and then try to blend it out.

Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush 20 Peach Satin

I really like this shade (Peach Satin) in particular because it is very flattering on my neutral fair skin tone. Overall, I really like this formula and would definitely pick up other colors.

Hylamide SubQ Eyes Advanced Serum Review

Hylamide SubQ Eyes Advanced Serum

Hello everyone!

I loved the Hylamide SubQ Anti-Age Advanced Serum so much that I wanted to try more from this line. I have tried many eye creams but have never tried an eye serum and so I was curious to see the difference.

This eye serum (packaged in a bottle with a dropper) makes many claims; to deeply hydrate, get rid of any dynamic lines, textural irregularities, puffiness and dark circles. While I do not have puffiness or wrinkles around my eye area, I do have some darkness due to the thin skin which allows my blue/purple veins to show through. I also struggle with dehydration under my eyes.

I noticed that after using this eye cream everyday for about 1-2 months that it definitely improved the skin around my eyes by deeply hydrating it. It is a serum so it absorbs well without feeling heavy; therefore, it sits very nicely under concealer because it hydrates without creasing the concealer or making it look cake-y.

AmorePacific Moisture Bound Intensive Serum Masque Review

AmorePacific Moisture Bound Intensive Serum Masque

Hi everyone!

The name says it all about this product; it is a mask that drenches your skin in moisture that will instantly give you a healthy glow. It is great to use once in a while to hydrate your skin and get rid of any dry patches.

AmorePacific Moisture Bound Intensive Serum Masque

This box contains two treatments with two masks and two vials of product. You are suppose to open a vial and apply the serum onto your face without working the product in; I used my fingers to apply. Then there are two pieces of the mask which need to be placed on your face right after the serum is applied.

Upon application I noticed that the mask had a strong cooling sensation which did not go away until I removed the mask. The mask stuck¬†pretty well onto the face without slipping or falling off. After about 15 minutes or so I removed the mask and noticed that most of the serum was absorbed into my skin and that my skin looked extremely healthy, glowing, very soft to the touch and my pores looked very tiny. These results stayed for a few days which was very surprising; I’m guessing that the serum absorbed very well into my skin in order to keep my skin hydrated for so long with just one treatment.

Even though I have an oily t-zone I do struggle with dehydrated skin. I wish the serum in the little vials came in a large size so that I could apply this every night! I loved the results, definitely recommend for dry/dehydrated skin types.

Nivea Mattifying Day Care Moisturizer Review

Nivea Mattifying Day Care Moisturizer

Hello again!

This is an amazing moisturizer for oily skin types because it moisturizes while mattifying your skin! On days when I apply this I notice my skin staying matte for longer periods of time.

Nivea Mattifying Day Care Moisturizer

It comes in a standard squeeze out tube with 50 ml of product inside. The product itself is a white thin lotion consistency that quickly absorbs into my skin without feeling greasy. It has a very pleasant fresh scent that I enjoy. The fact that it somewhat helps control my oily t-zone is a huge bonus since I haven’t been able to find a primer that can do that well. It is a two in one product since it also preps your skin for foundation.

Tatcha Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil Review

Tatcha Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil

Hello everyone!

I have been loving this cleansing oil lately because it removes all my makeup so quickly, which is amazing for those nights where you can’t be bothered.

The packaging is simple and cute; it has a pump and contains 150 ml of product. I use about two pumps of product if I have a full face of makeup and begin massaging it onto my face, eyes, and lips and then rinse with water. It removes everything so easily that I can’t use anything else after using this. Most days I will follow up with a facial cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer and eye cream but even if you skip those things your face won’t be dried out over night.

I really like how this removes water-proof makeup and even liquid lipsticks that won’t budge with any other makeup remover. Highly recommend this!
