Clinique Foaming Facial Soap Review

Clinique Foaming Facial Soap

Hello again!

I wear makeup on a daily basis and so I need to use a cleanser that will deep clean and remove any residue from my pores. This cleanser is the small 30ml that came in a gift with purchase.

Clinique Foaming Facial Soap

You only need to use a small amount of this creamy cleanser since it really starts to foam up when you rub it into your skin. I sometimes use a facial brush to work in the product but either way after I use this cleanser I feel that my skin is thoroughly clean. It doesn’t dry out my skin like other cleansers that deep clean; I don’t feel tightness after washing my face with this cleanser. It leaves my skin feeling very soft and hydrated.

I highly recommend this cleanser; they have different formulas of this cleanser for different skin types.

LA Splash Studio Shine Lip Lustre (Jasmine) Review + Swatch

LA Splash Studio Shine Lip Lustre

Hello everyone!

I have done a few LA Splash lip product reviews in the past and the shades that I reviewed were more appropriate for the winter/autumn time but this bright pink shade is perfect for summer!

In my past reviews I mentioned that the formula of each shade slightly differs even though they are suppose to be the same formula. This particular shade has a mousse-y texture which is very pigmented similar to the Smitten Lip Tint Mousse which I reviewed here.  It glides on easily and dries quickly to a matte finish. There is no need to layer this as it is opaque on the first swipe.

This didn’t have a strong smell like the other lip products from LA Splash, I’m not sure whether it is only this shade since the other Lip Lustres did have a scent; read my review on those here, or if they got rid of the smell overall.

“Jasmine” swiped once. Dries to a demi-matte finish.

LA Splash Studio Shine Lip Lustre Jasmine

I really like how all of LA Splash liquid lipsticks are completely transfer, smudge and water proof. However, they don’t fade nicely after have a meal but rather start flaking off in tiny bits. These Lip Lustres and the Smitten Lip Tint Mousse fade better than the Lip Coutures.

Tatcha Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Serum Review

Tatcha Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Serum

Hello again!

I have reviewed a few vitamin C serums in the past; I love the brightening effect that they give but I thought I would do a review on a moisturizing serum. Even though I have an oily skin type; I have some dry patches and my skin can get quite dehydrated.

Tatcha Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Serum

I love Tatcha packaging; they look and feel luxurious. This bottle contains 30ml of product and has a pump.

I use this serum after cleansing my face and using a toner; then follow up with a moisturizer. This serum is so hydrating that you would probably not need or want to follow up with a moisturizer. Surprisingly enough, it absorbs quite well and isn’t greasy; I hate the look of greasy skin after applying moisturizer. I use this in the mornings as well as evenings  and it doesn’t interfere with my face makeup. With some oils/serums I have issues applying foundation on top as it doesn’t sit quite right on my face.

I would recommend this for anyone suffering with dry skin, dry patches or dehydrated skin.

b.liv Quench Me Moisturizing Gel Review

b-liv Quench Me Moisturizing Gel

Hello everyone!

I have been loving gel formula moisturizers lately; they absorb quickly and my face makeup has never looked better. Since I have an oily skin type this moisturizer hydrates without sitting on my face, making me look greasy.

I love the packaging of b-liv by cellnique products; they are simple but look really fresh and nice. This moisturizer contains 45ml of product and comes with a pump which allows every last bit of product to be used and not wasted.

The formula itself is a very light-weight, cooling gel which I feel deeply hydrates my skin but absorbs quickly so that I can follow up with primer, foundation and so on within a few minutes. This moisturizer makes my skin feel extremely soft and smooth; it is honestly the best moisturizer to use before you apply makeup because it does the job of a primer as well.

I highly recommend this moisturizer; especially for those with oily skin types.

Tatcha Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder Review

Tatcha Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder

Hi everyone!

These powder cleansers have really intrigued me recently because they provide a gentle exfoliation and really deep clean my pores. This powder cleanser is different then the others because instead of baking soda this one has rice enzyme and other amazing ingredients.

The packaging is very cute; it’s a little bottle that has a sliding stopper so that the powder doesn’t spill in the cap if turned upside down. It has a good amount of product; 60g inside.

I like to wash my face with water first and then use about a half of a teaspoon of powder to cleanse my face. I don’t add more water to the powder; I think a wet face and hands are enough and doesn’t make the consistency of the cleanser too runny. I can feel this powder exfoliate then start to turn creamy on my face as I rub it in. When I rinse my face I feel like my skin is extremely clean without a trace of makeup left behind. It does deep clean to the point of making my skin feel tight after rinsing so I need to follow up with a good serum and moisturizer afterwards.

I love this powder cleanser and would definitely recommend it; especially for oily skin types. It contains rice bran, papaya and anti-aging properties.

b-liv Off with Those Heads Review

b-liv Off With Those Heads

Hello again!

This gel claims to remove blackheads, whiteheads, controls oil, keeps acne under control and unclogs pores. I have been using this for a while now and have seen some noticeable results.

The packaging is simple but appealing as it contains a pump which doesn’t allow any product to be wasted. The product itself is a light gel formula that quickly dries as you apply it. I apply this over my entire face since it claims to control oil, soothe and provide hydration. After using this for a while I do notice that my skin appears brighter and the texture has improved. I believe my skin is brighter because there are fewer blackheads on my t-zone. However, my skin hasn’t improved in terms of oiliness; it is still very much oily but it has improved in texture – it is smoother and softer.

I still use blackhead strips and exfoliate to deeply clean my pores because I wear makeup on a daily basis and it is required for me to keep my skin from breaking out. However, I felt that this improved my skin overall so I will continue to use this.

What do you recommend for getting rid of blackheads?

Indeed Laboratories Nanoblur Review

Indeed Laboratories Nanoblur

Hello everyone!

This technically isn’t a primer as it is to be worn over liquid foundation or alone by itself. I tried both ways and thought that I would do a review on this very hyped up product.

Indeed Laboratories Nanoblur

This has a standard squeeze-tube packaging which contains 30ml of product. The packaging is almost identical to the Vitamin C24 which you can read my review on here.

Honestly, this product on it’s own doesn’t do much for me; I didn’t notice any blurring of my pores and since I don’t have wrinkles I can’t really comment on how well it would work for that. I also tried applying this on top of foundation and I did notice that it has a mattifying effect however, I don’t like that I have to pat this on as it moves/removes my foundation.

I’m not really sure how to use this product since it didn’t do much for me either by itself or on top of foundation. Comparing this to the Vitamin C24: I highly recommended the Vitamin C24 because it worked amazingly as a primer under foundation for mattifying the t-zone and even on its own since it blurred out my pores and mattified, all while having the benefits of vitamin C: brightens, evens skintone, protects, etc. Overall, I’m not a fan of this product and would not recommend, but perhaps I’m not using it correctly.
