Indeed Laboratories Booster Serums Review

Indeed Laboratories Serum

Hi everyone!

I’m obsessed with serums because I find that I get quick results with them; I’m not sure if it is because they absorb better (thinner consistency) but I noticed an over-night difference when I used these serums. I always use serum before moisturizer because otherwise the serum can not penetrate through the moisturizer and therefore is a waste.

I have done a bunch of reviews on Indeed Labs’ products; most of which I ended up loving and wanting to repurchase. I especially loved the vitamin C24 cream – you can read my review here. There are six serums and they each cater to different skin needs. Seeing that I’m only 24 years old, I’m not really looking to minimize wrinkles (Q10) or increase firmness (Collagen) however, I do want my skin to look more radiant and hydrated. So I will focus my review on the other 4 serums.

What I like about these serums is that they absorb almost instantly, even though they have a gel-like consistency; they aren’t greasy and don’t sit on top of the skin. I have mainly been using the mineral/hydration serums; they give a similar result to when I use a vitamin C serum – which is radiance and glow the next morning.

They come in a bottle with a dropper so you can control how much product you want to use. They each contain 30mL of product which is standard for a serum. A brief description of what each serum is used for starting from left-right:

Mineral: Improve circulation to increase oxygen levels and to protect the skin from free radicals (detoxify).

Collagen: Improve skin’s density and restore elasticity. Contains multi-peptides.

Radiance: Contains Vivillume which restores radiance and reduces signs of aging.

Hydration: Contains hyaluronic acid which helps to replenish lost water and plump the skin.

Q10: Contains Coenzyme Q10, Vitamin E and Vitamin C to protect against UV damage. Evens skin tone and helps with lines and wrinkles.

Resistance: Protects skin against environmental factors and moisture imbalances.

Overall, I’m a big fan of Indeed Labs’ products and these serums are some of the best I have used so far. Which serum are you most interested in?

Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara Review

Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara

Hello again!

There are so many mascaras on the market that I feel it’s just a guessing game when it comes to picking one out. I usually go for drugstore mascaras since the price is more reasonable seeing that I have to purchase a new mascara every month. For some reason mascaras always dry out on me; it could be because I sometimes take them in my purse when I’m running late to apply when I’m in the car (passenger seat but I don’t recommend this because you can poke your eye out).

What I noticed about this mascara right away is the scent – it smells like roses, very fresh and floral however, not the best for sensitive eyes. The formula itself is very volumizing and lengthening, however it can be too much very quickly. The brush picks up a lot of product resulting in the very “spidery” lash look, which I have to admit I kind of like when the clumps are not on the tip of the lashes. The 01 Excessive Black shade is extremely black; which I really enjoyed. The brush below in the picture has been squished (not sure what happened); it doesn’t look as flat when brand new – it actually has a rather large brush.

Lastly, the longevity is good but because of the excess product that it applies to your lashes you may get some fall out and flakes throughout the day. Overall, I think this is a good mascara but I’m not sure if it is worth the price tag.

Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Lipstick (450 Insolent Plum) Review + Swatches

Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Lipstick 450 Insolent Plum

Hello everyone!

I’m so sorry if it seems like I’m not interested in blogging anymore – that can’t be further from the truth! Honestly, I felt like I didn’t have time to keep up the 3 times a week schedule because I was working full-time but now that I have cut back some hours at work I will be dedicated to this blog just like I was when I first started.

So, today I want to review this lipstick that was in a Block Buster (purchase with purchase) set a few months ago. I will review each of the products separately since there is too many products and the post will be crazy long. Also, because I don’t think this set is available however, each product can be purchased on it’s own.

I love wearing deeper shades during the fall and winter months so I choose the “Smokey” set instead of the “Neutral” one. I usually prefer a matte finish when it comes to deeper lipstick shades but I was excited to try a glossy finish. Starting off with what I liked: this formula is very hydrating and pigmented; it glides on and feels like a lip balm – it isn’t heavy at all. It also has a light vanilla scent that I find to be pleasant. However, I wasn’t so thrilled about the longevity – due to the nature of glossy lipsticks they tend to rub off and move around a lot more than matte ones. After about 3 hours or so it starts to fade away leaving a light plum stain. Also this shade is slightly patchy; I would highly recommend using this with a lip liner to keep the color inside the lines and to make it look more seamless.

Overall, I like this lipstick and the issues I mentioned above can be avoided with first applying a lip liner, filling in my lips and then applying this lipstick.
