Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief Review

Clinique Moisture Surge extended thrist relief

Hi everyone!

I didn’t know that a product like this existed until I started using it a few months ago and I’ve been loving it since!

It’s an oil-free cream-gel that claims to deeply hydrate skin with it’s hyaluronic acid which holds up to 1000 times it’s weight in water! It also contains aloe which is made to relieve dry flaking skin and help plump skin which instantly gets rid of fine lines.

It’s formulated for all skin types since it is a gel that instantly sinks into the skin sort of like a serum but my skin instantly feels velvety and smooth. I like to apply this before the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel and after the Clinique Clarifying Lotion.  I have lots of skincare products that I put in rotation but I have stuck to the Clinique 3 step for months now and I’ll switch up my serums and other products depending on what my skin needs at the time. I find that it works much better when it is applied before the moisturizing gel (any type of moisturizer) since it allows the product to fully absorb and not sit on top of the moisturizer.

I love how it makes my skin look very plump and healthy and it really helps with the dry patches that I get in the winter months. I could also see this being used instead or in combination with a primer to give a nice smooth base for makeup. However, I can’t use this instead of a moisturizer because it feels like a serum and isn’t moisturizing enough even for my oily skin.

I would recommend this for everyone; it’s paraben-free, hypoallergenic, fragrance-free  and noncomedogenic.

  3. This is one of my favorite products on the market right now, particularly for someone like me whose skin gets oily and nasty in hot summer weather. This is a great lightweight product for a daytime moisturizer option (or at night underneath something occlusive).
