Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfector Review

Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfector

Hi everyone!

I always use two separate primers at a time because I like a more hydrating primer for the perimeter of my face and a pore filler for my t-zone as I tend to get really oily and have noticeable pores on my nose/cheeks.

Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfector

This pore filler is extremely similar to the Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Minimizing Primer, click here to read my review on that one. The only slight difference that I notice between the two is that the Smashbox is slightly more hydrating while this one feels very putty-like and takes a little more work to apply.

I use to rub the product into my face but now I take a pea-sized amount and rub between my fingers and press onto my problem areas. This works much better as these silicon formulas tend to ball up when you try to work them into the pores by rubbing.

This is a nice pore filler and I would highly recommend for those with large pores and/or oily skin types as it helps to mattifying. My foundation glides nicely on top without exaggerating my pores/ sinking in to them. You can even use this on no foundation days as it smooths and slightly blurs the skin. I use this and the Smashbox one interchangeably, as I don’t see much of a difference between the two.

What do you think about these pore fillers? Is there one that you’d recommend? Let me know in the comments below!
