Clinique Smart Custom-Repair Serum Review

Clinique Smart Custom-Repair Serum

Hello again!

This serum claims to diminish fine lines/wrinkles, brighten skin tone/even dark spots, lift and firm and lastly improve radiance and texture. It’s an all-in-one serum that definitely got my attention because it’s suppose to target your specific skin concerns.

I like the packaging because I prefer a pump for serums over a dropper – it is airtight and will stay fresh a lot longer. The serum itself has a slip to it – it isn’t a liquid that is runny but sort of like a serum and moisturizer in one. It instantly plumps the skin after just one application and it makes your skin super smooth and soft. Before I get into the results; I’m in my mid twenties with some acne scarring, slightly uneven textured skin, fairly noticeable pores and a very oily complexion.

After about 6 weeks of daily use I noticed a huge difference – 90% of my acne scars were gone and the other 10% were hardly noticeable! I noticed that my skin looked overall more radiant and plump; it looks very hydrated and healthy. It also helped with my skin texture – I felt much more confident without foundation because I had a healthy glow. I don’t struggle with lines and wrinkles or sagginess so I can’t comment about that but since it deeply hydrates I would imagine that it would lessen the look of lines and wrinkles.

Overall, I really enjoyed this serum but it is on the expensive side however, if your desperate for a serum that can lighten acne spots – this is my recommendation to you.

b.liv Shrink and Tighten Serum Review

b.liv Shrink and Tighten

Hi again!

I’m always interested in trying out different products that claim to shrink my pores. I have noticed that my pores definitely look less visible from using products that really deep clean my skin but in terms of shrinking my pores; no product has been able to do that yet.

This product claims to minimize the look of pores, unclog pores, control oil, regenerate and repair cells, brighten and firm the skin. It contains lots of beneficial ingredients such as niacinamide which promotes collagen synthesis, normalizes sebum secretion and control acne. It contains vitamin C, A, E and lastly, salicylic acid; which helps acne and soothes the skin.

After using this regularly I didn’t really notice a difference in my pores but I did notice smoother, healthier looking skin. It definitely improved my skin texture and brightened my complexion. It has a pleasant slightly floral scent and the formula is very water-y; absorbs instantly. It has a demi-matte finish and sits nicely under makeup.

Overall, I enjoy this as a vitamin serum to help skin texture and give radiance however, since I didn’t notice it doing much for my pores I wouldn’t recommend it for that.

Indeed Laboratories Booster Serums Review

Indeed Laboratories Serum

Hi everyone!

I’m obsessed with serums because I find that I get quick results with them; I’m not sure if it is because they absorb better (thinner consistency) but I noticed an over-night difference when I used these serums. I always use serum before moisturizer because otherwise the serum can not penetrate through the moisturizer and therefore is a waste.

I have done a bunch of reviews on Indeed Labs’ products; most of which I ended up loving and wanting to repurchase. I especially loved the vitamin C24 cream – you can read my review here. There are six serums and they each cater to different skin needs. Seeing that I’m only 24 years old, I’m not really looking to minimize wrinkles (Q10) or increase firmness (Collagen) however, I do want my skin to look more radiant and hydrated. So I will focus my review on the other 4 serums.

What I like about these serums is that they absorb almost instantly, even though they have a gel-like consistency; they aren’t greasy and don’t sit on top of the skin. I have mainly been using the mineral/hydration serums; they give a similar result to when I use a vitamin C serum – which is radiance and glow the next morning.

Indeed Laboratories Booster Serum

They come in a bottle with a dropper so you can control how much product you want to use. They each contain 30mL of product which is standard for a serum. A brief description of what each serum is used for starting from left-right:

Mineral: Improve circulation to increase oxygen levels and to protect the skin from free radicals (detoxify).

Collagen: Improve skin’s density and restore elasticity. Contains multi-peptides.

Radiance: Contains Vivillume which restores radiance and reduces signs of aging.

Hydration: Contains hyaluronic acid which helps to replenish lost water and plump the skin.

Q10: Contains Coenzyme Q10, Vitamin E and Vitamin C to protect against UV damage. Evens skin tone and helps with lines and wrinkles.

Resistance: Protects skin against environmental factors and moisture imbalances.

Overall, I’m a big fan of Indeed Labs’ products and these serums are some of the best I have used so far. Which serum are you most interested in?

Indeed Laboratories Vitamin C24 Review

Indeed Laboratories Vitamin C24

Hello everyone!

I’m a big fan of vitamin C serums and creams since I have finally gotten rid of my acne but am left with acne scars. Vitamin C is mainly suppose to brighten the complexion and lighten dark spots and this product does all that and is an amazing primer!

Indeed Labs Vitamin C24

The texture of this “serum” is more so like a silky silicon-feeling cream. It instantly brightens my skin as soon as I finish rubbing it in and blurs my pores better than most primers! This is why I love using this in the mornings under my makeup before moisturizer. It allows my makeup to glide on extremely well even though it isn’t meant to be a primer it makes my foundation sit extremely well on my skin and look pore-less almost.

As for the lightening of my dark acne scars; I have noticed them fading quite a bit after 2 weeks but it hasn’t completely went away. I think it is going to take a few more weeks to get rid of my acne scars. I would definitely recommend this “serum” for those looking to brighten dull skin, lighten dark spots, tighten pores, etc.

Hylamide SubQ Anti-Age Advanced Serum Review

Hylamide SubQ Anti-Age Advanced Serum

Hi everyone!

I always use a vitamin C serum (helps skin texture and brightens) before applying my moisturizer on at night and so I switched it for this serum to see the results.

Before I begin the review, I’m 23 years old with combination-oily skin with a breakout once in a while. I sometimes have dry patches and some textural irregularities. I also have somewhat noticeable pores on my nose and surrounding area.

Hylamide SubQ Anti-Age Advanced Serum

There are quite a few claims on the packaging such as improving skin hydration, fine lines, wrinkles, dynamic lines, sagginess, and textural irregularities. It also claims to show results in only 10 days.

This product comes in a 30mL bottle with a dropper since it is a serum (very runny). I use about 3 drops for my entire face and it absorbs in a few seconds so I can quickly follow up with a moisturizer. The product has a faint scent and is not greasy at all.

I don’t have any wrinkles or sagginess, so I can’t comment on the effectiveness of this product for those, but I did notice my skin looking very plump and healthy-looking in only a few days of using this product. My skin also looked much more uniform in terms of texture, it became very smooth. The results were very noticeable and I see myself using this everyday, especially in the winter when my skin gets dehydrated and I get dry patches.
