This serum claims to diminish fine lines/wrinkles, brighten skin tone/even dark spots, lift and firm and lastly improve radiance and texture. It’s an all-in-one serum that definitely got my attention because it’s suppose to target your specific skin concerns.
I like the packaging because I prefer a pump for serums over a dropper – it is airtight and will stay fresh a lot longer. The serum itself has a slip to it – it isn’t a liquid that is runny but sort of like a serum and moisturizer in one. It instantly plumps the skin after just one application and it makes your skin super smooth and soft. Before I get into the results; I’m in my mid twenties with some acne scarring, slightly uneven textured skin, fairly noticeable pores and a very oily complexion.
After about 6 weeks of daily use I noticed a huge difference – 90% of my acne scars were gone and the other 10% were hardly noticeable! I noticed that my skin looked overall more radiant and plump; it looks very hydrated and healthy. It also helped with my skin texture – I felt much more confident without foundation because I had a healthy glow. I don’t struggle with lines and wrinkles or sagginess so I can’t comment about that but since it deeply hydrates I would imagine that it would lessen the look of lines and wrinkles.
Overall, I really enjoyed this serum but it is on the expensive side however, if your desperate for a serum that can lighten acne spots – this is my recommendation to you.

Finding the right moisturizer has always been difficult for me because I have an oily skin type and therefore I don’t want an oily, greasy formula.
I first tried the lotion (meant for dry to very dry skin types) in a gift with purchase and this stuff is very greasy! It made me so shiny – I could see the film of oil on my face. However, I did notice that my skin was noticeably soft after just one use of this but I had to stop using it because of the oil. Months after that first impression I noticed that Clinique has a gel formula that is oil-free and meant for oily skin types. I went for it and got the large 125 ml size with the pump and I’m so glad I did – this stuff is amazing! It is the perfect moisturizer for oily skin types; it’s light weight, moisturizing without the oil, makes my skin incredibly soft and smooth and lastly, it has a slight tackiness to it right after application which makes it the perfect base for makeup.
Clinique is known for having fragrance-free products and their formulas are made for sensitive skin. I have been using this for months now and I have not broken out, the (natural product not perfume) smell is not strong but it is definitely detectable however, it doesn’t bother me at all. I love that the formula absorbs fairly well and doesn’t sit on my skin or clump together when I apply foundation on top.
I see myself repurchasing this many times and this is the first moisturizer I would recommend to anyone that asks me. I would recommend the entire Clinique 3 step system (foaming face wash, clarifying lotion and this moisturizer); they are affordable but very effective in helping me get rid of textured skin, acne, and redness.

I’ve been reviewing so many skin care products lately and so I thought I would do one more before I turn the focus back on cosmetics. I ordered this on eBay a while back; I needed something for the random blemish I get every now and then.
I have used a bunch of Etude House products in the past and loved every single one, so I was confident about choosing this brand from the other Korean ones. I’ve seen many different acne treatment formulas but this one stood out since I’ve never seen a balm with Salicylic acid; the acne treatment ingredient. I also like that this is targeted towards spots rather than an entire face treatment.
Etude House always has the cutest packaging; this jar has a nice weight to it and doesn’t feel cheap at all. The product itself has a strong medicine scent which doesn’t bother me but I rarely get bothered by fragrance in products. It feels minty and cool upon application and instantly helps with redness however, I don’t seem to notice it doing much for the actual blemish. I also read that this product helps with lightening dark spots and I really haven’t noticed this doing much of that either.
I would recommend this for getting rid of redness if you don’t like wearing makeup to cover a blemish; this is a nice option. Other than that, this product wasn’t effective in actually getting rid of the acne or the acne scar.

These clarifying lotions (toner & exfoliant) had/have a huge part in getting rid of my acne. I never thought that a toner could have such a huge impact on my skin.
I started using the #3 clarifying lotion which is meant for combination oily skin type and after a few days of use I noticed that all the little bumps on my forehead were disappearing, I was getting fewer breakouts, my skin was glowing and fresh and not to mention super smooth feeling. I was using this product in combination with the Clinique foaming facial soap (review here) and the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel, which I will do a review on very soon.
This product claims to get rid of dead skin cells, which helps get rid of build up. It helps your serum, moisturizer, etc. absorb better into the skin because there are no dead skin cells in the way. I use this twice a day and every evening after I have used a makeup wipe to take off the majority of my makeup and washed my face afterwards when I follow up with this toner I can still see makeup on the cotton pad! This meant that I wasn’t properly taking off my makeup every night and many of my breakouts could have been caused by that.
I highly recommend this product to everyone! There are different formulas for every skin type. I got the #4 clarifying lotion (very oily) and I think I will be repurchasing that for the rest of my life!

I love this skincare brand. I have reviewed a few other products from b.liv and they are amazing. This brand caters to everyone because they have different lines which help with specific skin concerns.
This cleanser claims to control oil, unclog pores, exfoliate skin, treat acne and fade scars, sooth and hydrate skin and lastly, it is anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial. I always look up the ingredients to see if the ingredients can back up the claim. On the website it briefly summarizes the ingredients that are responsible for treating acne and soothing the skin which I found to be very informative and convincing that the product will be effective.
This is a liquid/gel cleanser which decently foams up and leaves my skin very soft and smooth afterwards. I sometimes use this with my Clinique Sonic brush (review coming soon) and it gives me more of an exfoliation than when I use my hands. I don’t solely rely on cleansers for my acne because they are never effective enough however, since this has salicylic acid it does help slightly with acne. What I like about this cleanser is that it deep cleans which gets rid of all my makeup, which is why I like to use this in the evenings as opposed to mornings. I like the scent that it has and it is not too harsh where it would leave my skin feeling stripped of all oils and dried out.
Overall, I really like the products that I have tried from this brand and I would love to try out more!

Disclaimer: I received this product for reviewing purposes. All my reviews are my honest opinion whether I bought the product(s) or it was sent to me.
This foundation is targeted for people who have acne because it contains salicylic acid, witch hazel, camphor, tea tree and lastly aloe. I have seen these ingredients on many cleansers, toners, gels, etc. claiming to get rid of acne. I personally do not have much acne; except for a few acne marks which have faded mostly. I also have combination skin; oily t-zone but some dry patches. This review is on the shade “Porcelain”.
This is a full coverage foundation; so it will easily cover any existing acne or any discoloration. A little goes a long way so you don’t need much product. It cancels out any redness and creates a flawless canvas. This has a semi-matte finish that dries down so you can skip the powder if you have drier skin types. I have to powder my t-zone but I use the smallest amount since I don’t need any more coverage. It’s not at all heavy or cake-y; as long as you don’t use much powder on it.
The lasting power is very good and will easily last the whole work/school day. If used with a good primer and setting spray it will stay for the entire day. It stays looking good but if you apply a thicker layer of this foundation it may sink into laugh lines, forehead creases, etc.
The ivory shade looks to be the lightest shade but it looked very pink on their website, so I choose the porcelain shade and I’m glad I did as this one is almost my skin-tone shade however, it does have a slight pink undertone. The swatch below has the product squeezed out of the tube on the bottom and blended out on the top.
I really like the squeeze bottle because you don’t have to put your fingers in the product and you can control how much product you want to squeeze out. The packaging is also very travel-friendly because it is slim and light.
I personally think that this foundation is great and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a full coverage natural-finish foundation.
