Hi again!
This eyeliner/eyeshadow stick is perfect for a touch of shimmer in the inner corners, all over the lid, or brow bone. Look below for the swatches; the shades are amazing!
The liner (pearl) side is a thinner stick that is a metallic silver/white shade. This looks nice on the inner corners; it does not smudge or run (unless you rub it). I tried this on my waterline but it does not work well there; it runs down immediately onto my lashes and because of it’s metallic sheen it doesn’t show up well on the water/tight line.
The shadow (glow) side is a very soft pink/champagne shade. I also love using this on my inner corners and find that the quality is better than the liner; it is creamier. I also think this would look nice on the brow bone if you apply a bit and then blend it out slightly. I usually use a matte shade with the tiniest shimmer for the brow bone but sometimes I like a more shimmery brow bone when all of the shadows I used are matte. I tried this on the waterline and just like the liner; it doesn’t perform well there. I also tried this all over the lid and it immediately creased on me. I applied it again but then quickly added shadow on top and I noticed that it didn’t crease after that. It also made the eye shadow pop because it is a light shimmery color and that definitely came through. I wouldn’t rely on it (as a base) for more than a few hours because I have oily lids and always need to prime.
The shadow (glow) is on the left and the liner (pearl) is on the right.
I would recommend this if you are searching for a silver/white and/or pink/champagne shade for the inner corners. It is very easy to apply and the lasting time is decent; I’d say it would last a whole work/school day but you would experience fading after a few hours if it is not set with a shadow.
Have you tried these eyeliner/shadow sticks? – they come in a bunch of different colors!
